Peach country at the I-75 exit. Byron has orchards on one side and new rooftops on the other, and we work both.
Byron sits in Peach County right on I-75, close enough to Macon to be a commute and far enough out to still have orchards around it. It's a small city with a long memory — the 1970 pop festival out on the Byron fairgrounds still comes up — and these days it's growing steadily along the interstate corridor.
The tree work here comes in two flavors, and they don't look much alike. On the residential side it's Coastal Plain pine country: sandy soil, shallow wide root plates, loblollies running eighty feet on lots that used to be timber. On the agricultural side it's orchard and grove work — peach blocks that have aged out of production, pecans along field edges, and windbreak rows that need clearing or thinning.

"JC and his crew did a great job getting the massive tree that fell during the storm. They were very helpful and worked hard to make sure myself and my neighbor were happy with the end results, and all of my property — trailers and fence — that were buried by the tree were protected while they worked. Will use JC's Tree Service again!"

Based twenty minutes east in Macon, working Byron, Fort Valley, Perry, Musella and the rest of Peach County.
What Byron property owners ask us most.
Yes. An aged-out block is volume work — a lot of small trees in close rows and a lot of stumps. We'll walk it, give you one written price for the whole block, grind the stumps and haul everything off so the ground is ready for whatever's next.
About twenty minutes from Macon straight down I-75. Peach County is normal working ground for us, not a stretch.
It can be. Pines that grew up in a dense stand never developed much wind-firmness of their own, so once the stand is thinned for building they're exposed in a way they didn't grow to handle. Worth having looked at, especially in the first few seasons after clearing.
Yes, and that's much cheaper per stump. Getting the grinder to the property is most of what one stump costs, so two is already better value and a dozen is dramatically better.
